Pentrex, the nation's largest producer of high quality railroad video tapes is proud to present one of America's finest HO Scale model railroads, the "Sierra Pacific Lines" of the Pasadena Model Railroad Club. The superb quality viewers have come to depend on in our railroad shows can be found in our look at this beautifully crafted and realistically operated model railroad.

The "Sierra Pacific Lines", operated by the Pasadena Model Railroad Club, is immense. The railroad occupies a 5000 square foot room. Thirty thousand feet of code 100 steel rail has been laid on 500,000 crossties totaling over 10,000 feet of handlaid track. A train running at normal speed takes about one hour to travel the 1750 foot long mainline from Alhambra to Zion. Twenty-seven people are needed to operate the railroad including a trainmaster, two dispatchers and ten cab operators.

With an emphasis on operations, the high standards set forth by the club are quite evident in the smooth and realistic operation of the trains.
